A little over three years ago, Google introduced the world to it's newest version of Analytics. According to Google, Google Analytics 4 (dubbed GA4) is "...a new way to unify app and website measurement".
When GA4 was originally released, few people installed it as we were all so embedded with the long-standing Google Universal Analytics version and their "UA-codes".
However, as of July 1, 2023, Universal Analytics will no longer process new data for your website. If you don't prepare now by setting up and switching over to a GA4, your standard Universal Analytics properties will stop processing new hits and eventually, the data will be removed completely.
The sooner you get yourself and your site setup on Google Analytics 4 the better off you will be going forward.
Join me for this Meetup where I'll demonstrate how to get GA4 setup and ready to go and then I'll show you around the new GA4 interface to get you familiar with it's new features.
When SEO first began, keywords were the “key” to driving website ranking. Some of you may even remember the days when people would stuff their pages with the same words over and over again in order to attract Google.
Over the years, designers learned they could add hundreds of keywords at the bottom of their pages and even make them the same color as their background so users couldn’t easily see them, but Google’s search bots could. And, we can’t forget how meta tags stuffed with keywords were the norm.
But things changed. Google tweaked their algorithms as they have so many times since and upended the way people found our websites. Leaving many people scratching their heads, and wondering why they were no longer in the top three results.
Have you been keeping up with all the changes? We have.
And we are ready to get you up to speed on all the latest methods for researching and using keywords properly to put your website on the best footing for capturing those delicious free clicks.
